Maritsa and Boris Nedevi House

The residential building was built in 1921 and the design came from the hand of the Bulgarian architect . It was built for Boris Nedev, who was a clerk in the Shipping Company, and his wife Maritsa, who is the daughter of Dimitar Panitza. Later on the building was also used as an embassy building for the Kazakh Embassy.

The building is built in the Eclectic style and contains some Moorish influences. The Moorish influences can be seen in the beautiful motifs that can be admired above the circle top windows. It's also visible in the roof , as well as on top of the .

On the south side, on the first floor of the building, you'll see a , that's secured with a stone balustrade containing . If you look a bit further up, you can admire two semi-hexagonal with in the middle of it a huge loggia, that's supported by two . Above this, there's a balcony that stretches almost along the entire southern facade and at some parts is covered by a pointed roof.

On the western side of the building, you can see another loggia with a balcony on top of it. The balcony is supported by three columns that are crowned by a , which is embellished with Moorish motifs. If you look a bit to the left you'll see a huge yard terrace that gives the building a palace-like appearance.
