Panteleimon Rankov House

The residential and commercial building was built in 1911 and was designed by the Bulgarian architect Atanas Nestorov. The building was built for the Bulgarian lawyer Panteleimon Rankov and his wife, who was a doctor.

The most eye-catching part of the Art Nouveau building is the on the corner of the building. On top of the turret you'll be able to see a bell shaped dome with a on top of it and underneath it two supportive . Yet another eye-catching feature are the two gables on each side of the building. They are different in shape, but both contain a and a . This building is decorated with even more festoons, which are placed above the windows on the second floor. These festoons also contain a garland wreath in the center of them. Every window on the second floor contains a circular , which contains a total of three . Even more guttae can be admired underneath the two corbels that support the windowsill above them. A strip of is decorating the roof , which runs around the entire building. On the south side of the building, you can see a beautifully decorated wrought iron fence that separates the street from the garden.
