Geno Genov House

- Maria Luisa Boulevard 6 -
The construction of the residential building, which later also gained a commercial function, was completed in 1906. The building was built according to the design of the Bulgarian architect Avram Danazhiev and was built for the wealthy Bulgarian merchant Geno Bratoev Genov, who was a long-time member of the Varna Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In 1931, after the death of Geno Genov, a large sum was donated to establish a fund in his name, for the Higher School of Commerce. A large part of the donation had to be used for scholarships, which therefore could be issued from 1931 until 1944.
