Mincho Dimitriev House

The construction of the residential building started in 1912 and was finished in 1913. It was built for the Bulgarian Major Mincho Dimitriev and was built according to the design of the Bulgarian architect Manol Yordanov.

The beautiful Art Nouveau building contains a segmental part, in the roof cornice on the west part of the building. Within this segmental part you'll see a with the year 1912 in it, as well as two that are adorned with and two circles nested in each other. These same kinds of corbels can also be seen elsewhere but in some cases are even decorated with relief or a garland. The ones which are decorated with garlands can be seen on the that are also adorned with a cartouche and a garland wreath. The ones with the relief are supporting the pointed above them. The corbels that flank most of the other windows on the third floor are even decorated with foliage. Above most of the windows on the second floor, you'll be able to see a , while above one of the other windows you'll see a cartouche with the year 1913. Above the windows on the first floor, you can see a decorative garland wreath and underneath it an , which contains six guttae. On the west side of the building, you can see two covered balconies, both of them are secured with the same cast iron railing.
