Ivan Lazarov House

The residential building was built between 1909 and 1911 and was most likely the work of the architect Vasil Roglev. It was built for the Bulgarian merchant and donor Ivan Lazarov, who is a native of . In 1912 he built the Splendid Hotel and restaurant on Alexandrovska Street, which is located in a lively place in the city center and brings good income. In 1933, after the death of his wife Nedka Lazarova, he made a donation in her memory of nearly 500.000 leva for graduating from the Girls' Vocational High School. The only condition was that the school would bear her name, so it was changed into Nedka Ivan Lazarova Vocational School of Clothing. Ivan and Nedka had a son named Boris, who became a merchant.
