Yanko Tankov House

The residential and commercial building was initially built as a one storey building. The upgrade was built in multiple stages and was completed in 1928 and was designed by the architect Radoslav Radoslavov. There were four shops and warehouses on the first floor of the building. It was built for the Bulgarian merchant Yanko Yankov Tankov, an activist of the People's Liberal Party. In 1911, together with his brother Tanko Tankov and their cousin they founded a company with the main activity of wholesale and retail of iron, colonial, and paint goods imported mainly from Germany.

After the coup of , the entire activity of the company was terminated, and the assets and liabilities were passed to the state. In the days of socialism, the building housed one of the city's most famous restaurants called Havana.

The building is built in the style of Art Deco with some Art Nouveau elements and contains three . They are adorned with decorative vases and and are supported by either two or three . They are also decorated with many geometric forms, like , an motif, and Greek keys. This also counts for the corner, although here you'll see a shield with two garlands on top instead of a festoon.
