Moritz Germanov House

The initial design of the residential and commercial building came from the architect Onufriy Zarzov but was not realized. The approved design of the building, which was built in 1923, came from the architect Radoslav Radoslavov. It was built for shops and the home of the merchant Moritz Oshaya Germanov. The building was later inherited by the daughter of the merchant, Sophie Moritz Germanova.

The building, which is built in the styles of Neo-Baroque and Art Nouveau, contains a lot of . They can be seen in the fragments above the roof , as well as around and underneath the windows on the second floor. The building is also rich in , which can be seen above each of the windows and at some places underneath the roof cornice. Above each of the , you'll be able to see an ornament, which is adorned with garlands and a gemstone. The building also features two balconies, which are supported by two . The balcony is secured with a stone balustrade and the piers are embellished with wrought iron decorative vases.
