- Slavyanski Boulevard 4 -
The residential and commercial building was built in 1898 and came from the hand of the Armenian architect . It was built for the merchant Panayot Spasov, also nicknamed Gavaz, a Turkish word for bodyguard. He owned a large food storehouse close to the passengers port, and was a member of the Zora Reading Club, an establishment active in the national revival process. In more recent years the building housed a bar and some institutions like the Maritime Administration Executive Directorate and Ruse Port Administration Directorate.
