Bojan Stoyanov House

The residential and commercial building was built somewhere around 1896 and was most likely the work of the Italian architect Nino Rossetti. It was built for the banker Bojan Dimitrov Stoyanov, who graduated in finance in . After his graduation, he began working as a financier-controller in the Ruse branch of the Bulgarian National Bank and was one of the founders of the Bulgarian Commercial Bank in 1895. After the bankruptcy of the Girdap Bank, where he holds his capital, Bojan Stoyanov left Ruse and moved with his family to , where he remained until the end of his life.

In 1899 the building housed the office of the company Madjarov & Popov for the development of Ruse's stone quarries. Around 1910 the building was bought by Georgi Chizmarov and later on it housed the First Police Station.

The mansard roof of the Neo-Baroque and Neo-Renaissance building contains a total of nine dormers, one of which is adorned with a and two statues of two dolphins. On the same floor, you can also see two that are embellished with a shell, as well as some decorative lines that are adorned with when they end. If you look a bit further down you can see in different shapes and sizes. You'll also be able to see some and a beautiful foliage motif. A straight is placed above the windows on the second floor. In some places, you'll see a , and in other places, you can admire a , which is crowned with a Corinthian . The fragments underneath the windows are decorated with floral ornamentation and some of them even contain a .
