Fatme Rashidova House

The residential and commercial building was built in 1901 and expanded in 1903 according to the project of the Austrian architect Eduard Winter. It was built as an income building for Fatme Rashidova and was rented to various merchants. In the 1930s it housed the famous glass, porcelain, and earthenware store of the Aladjem brothers.

Underneath the roof of the Neo-Renaissance and Neo-Baroque building, you'll be able to see a strip of , as well as an motif and a beautiful floral pattern. The left side of the facade differs from the rest of the building. On top of this set of three windows, you can see a , a swan neck , which is adorned with a , a and the dates 1901 and 1973. The windows are flanked by , two of which contain the initials F and R, the initials of the first owner Fatme Rashidova. A containing eight and two are placed underneath the windows. The same cartouches can be seen on the bottom of each . Above each of the other windows, you can see a instead of a palmette. Underneath the windows, you see five panels on which two different stories are told. One shows two wrestling with two putti as spectators. On the other panel, you can see a putto riding a goose while the putto right of it is holding some food, while the other putto on the left is holding a trunk.
