Nikola Dimitrov House

The residential building, which also houses a commercial function, was built in 1909 according to a design that was created by the Italian architect . It was inhabited by the military commander and mayor of Burgas, Nikola Dimitrov Nikolov, who was born on February 18, 1888. He was one of the commanders in the 24th Black Sea Infantry Regiment during the and the , and also participated in the .

Besides being a prominent advocate for the national of Bulgaria, Nikola Dimitrov was an active participant in public life of Burgas, as well as an agricultural leader. He was mayor of the municipality of Burgas August 8, 1921, until June 9, 1923, and deputy mayor from June 15, 1932, until May 31, 1934. He also received the recognition of Honorary Citizen of Burgas. Nikola Dimitrov Nikolov passed away on May 24, 1968.

The protruded part of the Art Nouveau building, which is located on the attic floor, is embellished with , and , as well as , which are lavishly present all over the place. The dentils that can be seen underneath the roof , are alternated by . The , which is placed above the circle top window, contains a that contains the initial Я.Т. (Ya.T.). The two Ionic that flank the apron and crown the underneath them are adorned with . The pilasters, which are part of the huge , are decorated with a scroll-like ornament, as well as . The stone balustrade that secured the loggia, contains rectangular-shaped . The band that's placed underneath the loggia, is beautifully decorated wavy pattern. Above the main entrance door, you can see a pretty unusual horseshoe-shaped window. The rest of the building still contains many geometric shapes in all shapes and sizes.
