Ismail Dzhelilov House

The commercial building, which was built as a bank building, was completed in 1922 just after the . It was built for the needs of wealthy Burgas citizen Ismail Dzhelilov, also known as Dzhelil Bey, who was a graduate of the College. Before moving to Turkey, he sold the building to the Macedonian immigrants Janko and Petar Anastasov, who managed to escape from Serbian persecution in , but their sister Malina remained in their hometown. The first floor was converted into a representative shop for chocolate products and a pastry shop, which the new owners named after their sister Malina.

Their grandfather was a master painter, involved in the painting of many churches in Macedonia. Janko enlisted in the Internal Macedonian-Edirne Revolutionary Organization () at only 15 and participated in the Balkan and First World Wars, and Petar decided to come to relatives in Burgas and settled here. After the wars, the brothers got together, opened a shop next to the barracks, and started selling ready-made things. In 1947, the business of the Atanasov brothers was nationalized and the confectionery was managed by TPK "Sladkar" until 1990.

On top of the northwestern corner of the Eclectic building, you'll be able to see a hexagonal dome with a on top of it. On the same level, on the west side of the building, within the segmental part, you can admire a of a lions head. Above and underneath the roof , you can see different kind of motifs, like . Above most of the windows on the third floor you'll see a straight that's supported by two , which are decorated with three . The fragments underneath the windows, which are flanked by two , are embellished with floral and geometric motifs.
