Triandafil Teodosiu House

The residential and commercial building was built around 1911 and was built according to a design of the Italian architect . It was built for the Romanian manufacturer Triandafil Teodosiu, who after the began intensive commercial activity. In 1898, he founded an independent company for the import and export of mainly colonial goods. He is the owner of the steam factory for halva, lokumi and candies called Triandafil Teodosiou & Co., which was founded in 1912. The first floor of the building, which was built as an income building, were used as shops and the upper floor for residential purposes.
The steam factory
On the corner top of the Neo-Renaissance and Neo-Baroque building, you'll be able to see a segmental roof with on top of it a complex sculptural composition. The pilasters on the southern and eastern side of the building are adorned with a shield shaped , as well as a . Above the second floor windows you can either see a pointed of a pretty unusually shaped , while underneath these same windows you can see a that contains balusters.
