Former Bulgarian National Bank

The administrative building, which was built in 1912, was constructed according to a design that came from the hand of the Bulgarian architect . It was built for for the needs of the Bulgarian National Bank, which was founded in 25 January, 1879. It was set up as an independent institution responsible for issuing all banknotes and coins in the country, overseeing and regulating the banking sector and keeping the government's currency reserves.

Later on the building housed the City People's Council, and some time after that, it became in use by the National Revenue Agency.

The most eye-catching feature of the Neo-Baroque and Neo-Renaissance building, is the hip roof dome with , on the southeastern corner. In the scaly sheet mansard roof, you can see a lot of dormer, some of which are decorated with garlands. Underneath the roof , you can either see some a strip of , or that are adorned with either foliage or a garland wreath. Between the last mentioned corbels you can see a .

A straight, open segmental, or an open pointed is placed above the windows on the second floor. The pointed pediment is embellished with a and is supported by two round shaped that are crowned with Ionic . Underneath this spectacle, you'll be able to see a , which contains a total of eight . The first floor, as well as the second floor, are richly decorated with festoons, garlands, and even some .
