Ivan Eshek House

The residential and commercial building was built around 1910 as a hotel for the merchant, Ivan Genov, known by the nickname Ivan Eshek. The co-owner of the building was Alexander Georgiev, which was later bought by Kiril Berlinov. The author of the project is the Italian architect , who designed a building that housed a hotel on the upper floors. The first floor were built to house shops, including a perfume shop named Aroma where they sold creams, perfumes, colognes, and other products.

On top southwestern corner of the building, which is built in the Eclectic style, you can see an interruption of the roof and strip of , which is decorated with . The , that can be seen on the third floor are crowned with Doric and are adorned with a garland. The underneath the windows on the third floor, are embellished with six on each side. The balcony, which is supported by two , and are secured with a wrought iron railing. The rest of the building is decorated with a lot of unusual ornaments, which are embellished with geometric shapes.
