Elena Ioanidis House

The residential building was originally built in 1890, and renovated in 1900, for the Bulgarian public figure, and the 34th mayor of Burgas, Nikola Alexandrov. Later on, it was inhabbited by a large food and pulse exporter named Ioanidis and was registered as the property of Elena Ioanidis. Later, she donated the house to her niece Roni, who was married to the great merchant and industrialist Kubarelov. And even later on, it was used by the Club of Cultural Figures and as a restaurant.

The mansard roof and hip roofed dome of the Neo-Classical building contains many dormers. The strip of , which is placed underneath the roof , can also be seen a bit further down. Underneath this last mentioned strip of dentils, you'll be able to admire a Greek key motif, as well as some that are crowned with a Corinthian . All the other pilasters on this floor are crowned with a Doric capital. A straight is placed above some of the windows on the second floor, which are supported by two each. The building features one balcony that is secured with a stone balustrade and is supported by corbels of different sizes and shapes.
