Nikola Alexandrov House

The residential building, which was built in 1910, was realized by a project of the Italian architect . It was built for the Bulgarian public figure and Mayor of Burgas, Nikola Alexandrov, who was born on January 1, 1860, in Burgas. He became an orphan at an early age and was taken care of by his famous uncles, the first Mayor of Burgas , and his brother . He received his primary education in Burgas and , where his uncle Odyssey lived at the time. He continued his education at the Robert College in , where in 1880, he graduated and moved back to Burgas.

He started working as a secretary of the Burgas Customs and from 1888 he was a steamship agent and represented English steamships and in 1890 the French steamship company called Fresine. In 1895, he was the first agent in Burgas of the newly established Bulgarian Commercial Steamship Company, which he represented until 1890. From 1908 he received the representation of the Royal Dutch Steamship Company. In the period from 1910 until 1935, he was honorary consul of the Netherlands in Bulgaria. He was one of the founders of the Trade and Grain Association and served as Mayor of Burgas for three periods. He died on May 21, 1935, at the age of 75.

The building is built in the Eclectic and Alpine style and features a lot of elegant carved wood elements. The gables that are located on the southern and eastern side of the building contain a beautiful with a on top of it.
