Petar Kyulyumov House

The building was constructed in 1923 with a residential purpose, which later also gained an administrative function. The building was built according to a design by Bulgaria's first female architect, , as one of her first designs. The construction was commissioned by the then-famous Bulgarian merchant Petar Kyulyumov and his wife Nevena. Later on, it was inhabited by Kurt Yakubovski, who in 1922 arrived in Burgas and became the director of the Glarus salt production enterprise and German consul in Burgas.

He was the initiator as a German representative to open a German school in the city of Burgas. In April 1926, with the financial assistance that was sent from Germany together with an amount that German companies in Burgas put in, a premise was rented, for the first German kindergarten. In 1927, they received a permit to open a German school in Burgas from the Ministry of Education in . fter breaking diplomatic and consular relations with Germany on September 5, 1944, the consulate in Burgas was closed.

An is placed underneath the roof overhang of the Art Nouveau building, which is beautifully curved at some places. Some of the balustrades are embellished with iron , while others contain . On the southeastern side of the building, you can see multiple , which are either supported by round-shapes, or square-shaped columns. The of the round-shaped columns are decorated with beautiful motis, which also counts for the fragments that are placed between the first and second floor. One of the fragments contains the year of construction 1923 and the intertwined letters К.П. (K.P.). On the western side of the building there's a huge , which is supported by a total of four .
