Isaac Presenti House

The building, which was built for residential purposes, was constructed in 1896 for the wealthy Jewish merchant Isaac Yanko Presenti, who was the largest exporter of wheat at the beginning of the 20th century. At the beginning of the 20th century, Isaac bought an old Turkish inn, built in the 1870s. The plot was converted into a commercial tradehouse. On the first floor were the commercial offices, as well as the perfumery and drugstore of Isaac's sons, Ernesto and Albert. Isaac married a total of two times and had five children with each of his two wives.

In 1995, the building was upgraded with an extra floor, and the interior has been completely changed, according to the project of the Bulgarian architect Yancho Chonkov.

A bit further down, you'll be able to see a , as well as a wrought iron , which contains and the construction year 1896.
