Petar Dimitrov House

The residential and commercial building was built in 1922 and was built according to a design of the Italian architect . It was built for Petar Dimitrov, who at that time, together with his brother Stefan, was one of the biggest business figures in Burgas. The two of them founded the Sawmill, Parquet, Packaging and Barrel Factory, which is among the most modern enterprises in the city. On the first floor there was an office of the former owner, as well as three shops, one of which was owned by the grocer Dimitar Korudzhiev. The upper floor was used for residential purposes and was used by Petar who lived there with his family and servants.

The most eye-catching feature of the Neo-Baroque building is the on the southwestern corner. The turret is crowned by a majestic scaly sheet copper bell shaped dome. The turret is decorated with , as well as a lot of other floral ornamentation. The semi onion cone shaped bottom of the turret gives it a harmonious connection with the walls below it. These same balusters are used in the balconet that can be admired on the turret and the balustrade of the balcony and the roof terrace. The cornice, which is placed at certain parts between the first and second floor, are adorned with all sorts of floral ornaments.
