The residential building that was built in 1924, was built according to a design of the Bulgarian architect in cooperation with the Italian architect . It was built by the order of the famous merchant and industrialist Stefan Rodev, who was born in in 1866 in . He is one of the descendants of one of the most ancient known families from Gabrov. After the , he came to Burgas and engaged in trade in colonial goods. He is the owner of a share of the salt pans and of many vineyards and lands in the region, as well as a representative of the Russian steamship lines for Burgas. Together with his wife Cornelia, he had three children, Nadezhda, Veselina, and Elisaveta.

The building that is built in the style of Art Nouveau and Neo-Baroque style, features a total of three dormers and three beautifully shaped gables. The windows of the beautiful wooden main entrance door is secured with wrought iron barred windows. The circle top windows is inlaid with windows.
