Iliya Keremidchiev House

The residential building was built in 1910 for the needs of the local Bulgarian merchant Iliya Keremidchiev, who demonstrated prestige and wealth through the building. The architect who designed the project is unknown, but it is most likely created by the Italian architect . Between the 1980s and the early years of the millennium, the building was in a very bad state, so bad that the tower-like structure on top of the building was missing.

The most iconic feature of the Art Nouveau building is the tower like structure with the on top of it on the northwestern corner. The structure is adorned with and garlands. You can also see a strip of , which at some points got interrupted by that's decorated with , which is also visible underneath the roof . The cornice is interrupted at four places by a dormer that is topped with a globe that has a spire on top of it. Within the frieze, beside the corbels, you'll also able to see . Above the second floor windows, you can admire a lovely cruved cornice, as well as festoons and underneath these windows you can see some . Some beautiful floral ornamentation is placed between these same windows. Between the first and second floor, as well as around the first floor windows, you can see a lot of attractive unusual ornamentation. The balcony that's located on the northwestern corner, is secured with a beautiful wrought iron railing and supported by two wrought iron corbels. The railing is decorated with volutes, which is also the case with the railing of the balcony on the southern side. The fence and the gate that separates the premises from the street is decorated with .
