The construction of the two-story building, which was built as a residential and commercial building, was executed in 1906. The building was built according to the project that was created by the Bulgarian architect , and its construction was commissioned by Doctor Kiril Dobrev, who was a teacher at the Boys' High School in Plovdiv.

The most distinctive feature of the Art Nouveau building is the , which is placed on top of the corner and supported by four . The mansard roof, which can be seen at the same height as the bargeboard, contains multiple dormers. The ornamentation around the first and second floor windows consists of and , one of which bears the initials К.Д. (K.D.). The balcony that's placed above the door that leads to the commercial premises, is secured with a lovely curved wrought iron railing, which is richly embellished with . The two corbels that support this balcony are adorned with one each.
