Viennese Confectionary

The construction of the four-story building, which houses a residential and commercial function, was built at the beginning of the 20th century. it's unknown who commissioned the construction, nor which architect created the project, but it's known that it was in use by the famous Viennese confectionary, which was housed on the first two floors. The building was also home to the Plovdiv Vacancy Commission for some time, and later became the property of the Muslim Confession.

The corner of the building, which is built in the Eclectic style with some Neo-Baroque elements, is topped with a tower-like structure surrounded by dormers in three different shapes and sizes. One of the dormers leads to a balcony, which is secured with the same wrought iron railing as the balconies that are placed on the second floor. The building features a total of four , one of which differs from the other three. On top of three of the oriel windows, you can see a curved , which is supported by four each. The ornamentation between the windows consists of , , decorative shells, , and floral ornamentation.
