Iliya Kolev House

The two-story building, which is also known by the name of the House with the Heads, was constructed with a residential and commercial function. The construction, which was commissioned by Iliya Kolev, which built according to the design that came of the hand of a Swiss architect. During the time of Socialism, on the first floor, exotic fruits such as bananas, oranges, and dates were sold in the shop called Display Shop on major holidays. The shop that imported their oranges from Cuba was disbanded at the dawn of democracy.

The most eye-catching part of the Neo-Renaissance building is the , which is supported by two and is topped with a roof that's crowned with a . The mansard roof contains multiple dormers, which are all crowned with a segmental . Even more pediments can be seen above the second floor windows, although in this case they are pointed instead of segmental in shape. The corbels, which are adorned with , support the roof above them act as . The second floor windows are flanked by loads of , which are either crowned by a Corinthian or a .
