Albert Sidi House

The four-story building, which houses a commercial function on the first floor and a residential function on the upper floors, was built in 1922. It was built on the plot where the former Gavaz Inn used to stand, where from 1857 until 1873, the first cooperative bookbindery of was located. The current building was in use by the Jewish publisher Albert Joseph Sidi, who published several postcards related to Plovdiv.

The building, which was built in the Eclectic style with some Art Nouveau and Neo-Baroque elements, contains two top gables, both of which are adorned with and a , one of which contains the construction year. The roof is supported by loads of , which in some cases form a pair. A is placed above some of the fourth floor windows, while above the third and second floor windows, you can admire a , as well as a hung up by a . Underneath these last-mentioned windows you can see some ornamentation consisting of an and . The that flanked some of these windows, are all crowned with a Corinthian . The northern facade contains some balconies, which are all secured with a curly wrought iron railing.
