Krum Bakalov House

The residential and commercial building, which was built in 1910, was designed by the Bulgarian architect Zhelyazko Rashev. It was built for the Bulgarian Doctor Krum Bakalov, who comes from a well-respected family from Stara Zagora. He and his brothers Gospodin and both studied in Switzerland and their brother graduated in law at the University.

On the top of the southeastern corner of the building, which is built in a modern architectural style, you can see a scaly sheet dome with a on top of it. The two gables that can be seen on the south and east side of the building features a simplified . The building contains a total of three semi-hexagonal , which features some geometric shapes, as well as some . In between those oriel windows you can see an uncommonly long , which is secured with a curved wrought iron railing.
