Ivan Mitev House

The residential building was built somewhere at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. It is not known which architect designed the building, nor who commissioned its construction. It was inhabited by Ivan Hadzhi Mitev for some time. He was born in 1889 and was an active member of the Bulgarian Labor Party. A plaque is placed in his honor on the right site of the main facade.

The symmetrical building was built in the style of Eclectic with some features of Art Nouveau. The roof overhang is supported by a lot of wooden , and even three stone corbels once the roof overhang reaches the pointed part of the top gable. The building is richly decorated with all sorts of geometric forms, among which are circles, some of which are decorated with the technique of . The building also contains a lot of , which can be seen in the top gable, the fragments underneath the second floor windows, as well as on the . The balcony that's placed in the center of the main facade, is secured with a beautifully decorated wrought iron railing. Underneath the balcony, you'll be able to see two supportive corbels, as well as a .
