Military Club

The construction of the military building started on May 6, 1901, and its construction was completed in the summer of 1903. The initiator of the construction of the Military Club was General , who commissioned the Bulgarian architect to design the building. The clock that was placed on the top gable is built in Austrian, and a flag is raised every time there is an important guest in town. In 1903, the first New Year's ball was held in the building, where the military band performs choirs and Viennese waltzes. The officers arrived on horses, while the officers' wives and daughters arrived in carriages that stopped at the central entrance.

The building housed a dance hall, an officers' canteen, a constantly working buffet, a library with a reading room, and a hotel with several rooms. During the officers' buffet, branded wines and cognacs, canned vegetables, snacks, and appetizers from the factory of the local manufacturer were served.

During its many years of existence, the building has seen development with a new south-eastern wing, which forms an inner courtyard. Also, the officers' canteen was reconstructed into a theater and cinema hall, which made it possible to increase the number of halls and places related to holding classes, theatrical performances, entertainment, and more.

On the top corner of the building, which is built in the styles of Eclectic and Neo-Renaissance, you can see a scaly sheet hip roof with a flagpole on top of it. The top gable, as well as the four dormers, are topped with a swan neck . The top gable also features some that are crowned with a Doric , as well as the construction period 1901-1903.
