Andrey Sermov House

The construction of the residential building must have taken place somewhere around 1921 and was built according to the design of the Czech architect Toma Varhota. It was built for the Bulgarian dentists Andrey Sermov and his brother Stefan Sermov, who were both sons of Yurdan Sermov, who worked as a medical paramedic in . Andrey was born in 1876, in the village of , and in 1909 he went to to study dentistry. In 1912 he opened a dental practice in the city of Krastyo Shpatov and in the newspaper called Shumenski Vesti of September 24, 1921, he announced that his practice was moved opposite the tobacco factory on Levski Street.
