Todor Todorov House

The residential building, which was built somewhere between 1904 and 1906, was constructed by a design that came from the hand of the Czech architect Toma Varhota. The frescoes that brighten up the interior of the building, are painted by a Czech artist in 1907. It was built for the Shumen merchant of that time, Todor Todorov, but he went bankrupt and could not repay his mortgage. It was sold to Dobri Dobrev, who was a doctor of law and the mayor of Shumen from March 3, 1935, until March 3, 1938.
