Jovan Jerković Palace

The two-story building, which was built for the residential needs of rich Serbian grain merchant Jovan Jerković, was constructed in 1909 according to a design that was created by the Hungarian architect . After the death of Jovan Jerković, the building was inherited by his wife Dana, who was a teacher. In 1931, she sold one of the apartments to lawyer Žarko Tomin, while the other three apartments were later nationalized.

The symmetrical building, which is built in the style of Art Nouveau, features a total of three dormers, all of which are adorned with one or three , as well as . The central dormer is crowned with a decorative vase as , and adorned with a surrounded by floral ornamentation, as well as two , both crowned with a Romanesque . Some more festoons can be admired about the second floor windows, which feature a garland wreath in their midst. A semi-circular is placed above the main entrance door, which is supported by interconnected . The balconies, which are visible on either side of the main facade, are supported by two massive corbels, and secured with cast iron railing that contains loads of geometric shapes.
