The two-story building, which was constructed somewhere between 1853 and 1854, was built according to a project of the architects Joseph Wild and Ludwig Bus. It was built for the residential needs of Count Adolf Széchenyi and was bought in by , who hired the architect Martin Sotic who carried a reconstruction. Originally there was also a covered with walking galleries here, but it was removed over time. During the renovation that took place in 2016 for a large fashion chain, the color of the building changed from terracotta to mint green.

A sculptural composition is placed on top of the symmetrical building, which is built in the styles of Neo-Renaissance, Eclectic, and Historicism, which consists of a female and male figure within their midst, the coat of arms of Count Adolf Széchenyi. At the same height, you can see various decorative vases, and the part underneath it, contains floral ornamentation, as well as loads of . The frieze, which can be admired underneath the that separates the attic from the rest of the building, is lavishly adorned with even more floral ornamentation. The frieze that's located in the part of the building contains a lot of richly decorated , as well as a series of three busts, the middle one being viewed by the surrounding two. On top of the second floor windows, you'll be able to see a pointed adorned with , which is either topped with two , or a and two . The windows are also topped with a fragment containing even more floral ornamentation, including a , and these windows are either flanked by two corbels or two round-shaped that are decorated with . Underneath these windows, you can admire a fragment containing two mythological creatures consisting of foliage flanking a decorative vase, or a or balcony. The balcony is supported by three corbels, two of which act as . The that are located on the first floor, are either adorned with a lion head or the technique of .
