Former Hungarian Royal Post Office

The administative and governmental building, which waas built somewhere at the end of the 19th century was originally built with just two floors. At first it housed the Hungarian Royal Post Office, and later on, the building was upgraded with another floor and housed the Directorate of Post, and Telegraph. Later on, the roof of the building was adjusted according to the original design of before the upgrade.
The building around 1900
The symmetrical building, which was built in the styles of Neo-Classical and Neo-Renaissance, features loads of protruding , which gives the building a majestic touch. The dormers, which are placed within the sqaure domes that are crowned with and a , are all topped with a segmental . The pediments are adorned with , which also counts for all the other pediments that are placed on the building, for instance the pointed pediments that are placed above the third floor windows. It was also counts for the open segmental pediments that are placed above the second floor windows, which are either adorned with a garland wreath or a bust of Greek gods. They include the Greek gods , , and the others are most likely the Greek goddesses and and the Greek god . The pediments are either supported by two adorned with , or two pillars that are crowned with an Ionic
The building in 1941
Either a , or a balcony is placed underneath the second floor windows, of which the stone balustrade contains the same as the balconets. The balconies are supported by three massive corbels, which are lavishly decorated with floral ornamentation, including foliage. The massive , which are placed above the first floor barred windows, are all adorned with a predicting the Greek god .
