David Konjović Palace

The three-story building was built in 1912 on a plot where the one-story building of the Serbian pedagogue and director used to stand. His daughter Vera was married to prominent lawyer from Sombor and member of the Hungarian Parliament, Doctor David Konjović, who had the current building built on this plot in 1912. The building was built according to a design that was created by the architect Sandor Herceg, and it became the first building in Sombor to have an elevator and steam heating. In 1913, David Konjović and his family moved into second floor of the building, which was used to house his apartment and law office.
The former house of Nikola Vukićević
Before the , the famous pastry shop named Pelivan of Seadin Tairovci, who studied confectionery in , was located on the first floor of the left wing of the building. Around that same time, there were men's ready-to-wear shops by Akerhalt and Policer, Geter's florists, fashionistas and Altman's gasoline and oil wholesale stores located on the first floor.
David Konjović
David and Vera's son, Milan Konjović, lived and worked in the building. His most valuable family collection of paintings is kept here, which was later transferred to the Milan Konjović Gallery, as well as the old family collection of portraits of the ancestors of this famous Sombor family. Milan Konjović, who was born on 28 January 1898, was a prominent Serbian painter whose works can be divided into six periods of artistic style. He studied in many countries abroad and lived in from 1924 to 1932.

The symmetrical building, which was built in the style of Art Nouveau, contains a total of four top gables. The building contains a total of five balconies in different shapes and sizes, all of which are secured with a cast iron railing that are adorned with . In addition to the geometric decorations on the door and the fence, the central part of the facade is decorated with stylized circles, rectangles and ellipses, while the side protrusions are decorated with .
