Pavle Stanimirović House

The construction of the two-story building, which houses both a commercial and a residential function, was completed in 1860. The building was built according to a project that came from the hand of the architect Karl Gfeller and was built for the Serbian merchant Pavle Stanimirović. The facade was modified in 1866, which was carried out according to a project that was created by the architect Anton Rekl. Conservation works were carried out in 1967, and 1985, as well as in 1997, in addition to this modification.

The top gable of the building, which is built in the styles of Neo-Classical and Neo-Baroque, is crowned with a segmental , flanked by two piers, and adorned with all sorts of geometric forms. Underneath the roof , you can see in different shapes and sizes, of which the larger ones are adorned with foliage. The second floor windows are flanked by in different shapes and sizes, which are all crowned with an Ionic . The same windows are topped with either a straight or a pointed pediment. The central balcony is supported by three wrought iron and secured with a wrought iron railing. The used on the first floor stand out because of their color compared to the stones used to build the facade.
