Crvenčanin Family House

The construction of the three-story building, which houses both a residential and a commercial function, was executed in 1887. The building, which was built according to a design that came from the hand of the Serbian architect , was built for the merchant family Crvenčanin. The building has a basement, a first floor, and two upper floors topped with an attic with a mansard roof.

The building was built in the Beaux-Arts style and contains two huge domes, which are both crowned with , as well as a . The dormers that are placed within these domes are topped with a segmental , which is adorned with a . The dormers also contain two and two . The stone balustrade that surrounds the domes contains the same as the that are placed underneath some of the third floor windows. The roof runs around the entire southern and eastern side, which is decorated with , some of which are adorned with foliage. Either a segmental pediment or a adorned with a is placed above the third floor windows. The that flank these windows are crowned with a Corinthian and embellished with all sorts of floral ornamentation, including , but also with a head of a . The balcony, which is located on the southern side, is supported by two massive corbels and secured by a stone balustrade, as well as a wrought iron railing that's placed on top of the balustrade.
