Hranimir Kupusarević House

The residential and commercial building, where patriarch stayed for some time, was built in the first half of the 19th century. It was built for the Austrian merchant and city senator Hranimir Kupusarević and his family. He played a significant role in the of 1848 when he was one of eight prominent participants in the May Assembly. Somewhere around 1875, his son Nikola Kupusarević became the owner of the building. In the 20th century, the building was owned by the merchant Anton Bolesny, who had his own hardware store on the ground floor. In 1927, he renovated the building, adapting the space to the contemporary business needs of the time. The renovation was carried out according to a project of the architect Josif Batkai.

The frieze of the building, which is built in the Neo-Baroque style, contains some richly decorated or squares in some places. Either a straight or a swan neck is placed above the second floor windows. Four of these windows are flanked by , which are crowned with a Doric . The building also features a lot of , as well as some stone blocks that are decorated with the technique of .
