Erdeš Bela House

- Cara Dušana 4 -
The residential building was built in 1907 and was built by teacher Erdeš Bela for the needs of a male boarding school. The Erdeš boarding school, as it was called after the benefactor who built it, was designed to accommodate 140 schoolchildren. Over the years, the purpose of the building stayed the same, with the fact that the capacities have been increased by the addition of new annexes in the yard. The boarding school became public property on March 18, 1949, based on the Law on Nationalization. In 1994, the name of the boarding school changed to Angelina Kojić - Gina, who was a teacher and the first manager of a home for war orphans in Zrenjanin.
