The residential building was built in 1894 by Leon Štegervald and two years later it was bought by Ferenc Danijel, who owned it until 1919. Paja Pin, a surveyor by profession, became its sixth owner in 1928. The villa has changed thirty tenants since 1943, when the property was confiscated by the German occupants. The building was built according to a design that came from the hand of the architect from .
