Zrenjanin Courthouse

The construction of the courthouse started in 1906 and was completed in 1908. The construction was commissioned by the Ministry of Justice of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy and was built according to a design of the Hungarian architect . A competition was announced by the Ministry of Justice in , for the project of the construction of the county court and prison, which was awarded to the Hungarian architect. From the 1870s until the , buildings of judicial authorities were erected throughout the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, as part of the new legal system that was formed after the formation of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy.
