Vilmoš Majer Villa

The residential building was built in 1913 and was designed by the local construction master Hof Nandor. It was built as a luxurious two-story villa located near the city center for Vilmoš Majer. In 1921, immediately after the , the building became the property of the Torontál Agricultural Machine Craft Iron and Metal Foundry. In 1924, the building was bought by Julius Herzog and his wife Margita, born Brauch.

In 1928, the building gained an administrative purpose and was bought from the Dunavske Bank by the District Workers' Insurance Office, which in 1922 established offices throughout the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. Since 1970, the Dental Polyclinic has been housed in the building, which became a separate institution within the health center called Dr. . The other part of the health center built a new building, which was built in the yard, with central heating, a bathroom, and mechanotherapy. It was built according to the project of local engineer in the Eclectic style.

The symmetrical building is built in the styles of Eclectic and Neo-Renaissance and features some Art Nouveau elements. The , which are located between the two hip roofs that contain a small dormer each, are adorned with . The piers that are located in between these balconets are topped with a beautifully decorated ornamental vase. A bit further down, you'll be able to see a , which is supported by eight columns that are crowned with an Ionic . The that's placed on top of the segmental opening, is embellished with a . A fragment is placed above the windows, which are decorated with garland wreaths and . The underneath some of these windows are adorned with five , as well as a . The roof are at certain places supported by pairs of . The building features many framed fragments with protruded squared corners.
