The residential building was built in 1895 for the lawyer Stevan Savić by a design of the architect Filip Leth. In 1912, the building was bought by the well-known merchant Stevan Bukovac from Veliki Bečkerek, nowadays Zrenjanin. He opened a fashion house in the building that sold all sorts of hats and caps, clothing for children, men, and women, as well as umbrellas and toys. Major restoration work was carried out on the building between the period of 2011 and 2012.
