Pál Stagelschmidt House

The residential and commercial building was built somewhere in the 1870s by the merchant, brickyard owner, and city senator, Pál Stagelschmidt, who was born in 1811. He was married to Paulina Napholtz and the father of the merchant and industrialist János Stagelschmidt. Pál Stagelschmidt passed away after a long and painful suffering on June 17, 1884, in Veliki Bečkerek, nowadays Zrenjanin.

During the restoration works in 1995, eight dormers were added to the roof of the building.

The part underneath the roof of the building, built in the Neo-Renaissance style, is decorated with , an , a , and an motif. There are also some that support the roof cornice and are embellished with foliage. Between some of the corbels, you'll be able to see a that's adorned with a . Above the second floor windows, you can either see a broken segmental or a broken pointed . In the broken part of the pediments, you can admire a lavishly decorated containing the initials S.T. A decorated with acanthus foliage and two are placed underneath the pediments. Underneath the windows, there's either a that contains seven or a fragment that contains a richly decorated , both surrounded by two green men.
