Abraham Samuel House

The residential building, which also houses a commercial part, was built in 1925 on a plot that was previously occupied by a building that was destroyed by the of 1917. It was constructed according to a project that was created by the Italian architect who took the job from the commisioner Abraham Samuel Jeni. He was a merchant who was involved in the trade of photographic goods and textiles together with his business partner Alberto Saporta.

The main entrance door of the symmetrical building, which was built in Eclectic style, is topped with a pointed . The pediment is embellished with an and motif, as well as a consisting of a globe. A massive is placed in the midst of the two supportive corbels of the pointed pediment, which are adorned with , scales, and ornamental flowers. The two corbels that can be seen on the top of the building, are identical, with the exception that they are additionally adorned with , which also counts for the corbels that support the two balconies. The wrought iron railing, which secures these balconies, is lavishly decorated with volutes, as well as . The areas above windows where a keystone is missing are decorated with a Greek key motif.
