Antal Vogel Palace

The construction of the four-story residential and commercial, which was built with the approval of a permit that was issued on October 26, 1911, was completed in 1913. The building was constructed according to the project of the Hungarian architect for the firm owned by Antal Vogel. In 1912, the Széchenyi Joint-Stock Company obtained a permit for the installation of two freight elevators and a passenger elevator. In the summer of 1914, the same company obtained a permit for alterations to the first floor. During this period, Antal Vogel was the director of the Agricultural Credit Bank of Timișoara, a joint-stock company that owned both the steam-powered Herkules Brick Factory and the Széchenyi Company. Architect László Székely had his architecture office in this building, and between the and the , the architect had an office in the building.

On top of the corner of the building, which is built in the style of Art Nouveau with some Neo-Baroque and Neo-Classical features, you can see a tower-like structure crowned with a bell-shaped dome containing a lantern tower. Underneath the dome, in addition to the many , you can also see many pointed adorned with with a garland wreath in its midst, which are supported by several . The huge pedestal on which it's placed is embellished with several crowned with an Ionic , as well as two ornamental eagles standing on a beehive. The other tower-like structure that can be seen at this same height, is crowned with another beehive, which symbolizes fertility.

Two have been placed on top of the facade, both decorated with dentils and a large garland wreath. The top gable features a fragment that contains a female angel holding a sheaf of wheat, which is surrounded by vines. The three all contain either one or three , which are either secured with an iron railing, or a stone balustrade that contains . The same counts for the surrounding balconies, which in some cases are supported by corbels. In addition to all the geometric shapes, the building is also decorated with , , and a Greek key motif. The entrance door, which is located on the eastern side of the building, is flanked by two impressive .
