Draga Family House

The construction of the two-story building, which over the years had residential and community purposes, was completed in 1907. The building was built for the Draga family, a family that was active in the trade of wood, who moved into the building in 1908. The last heir, Ali Draga, did not live long in the house in Skopje, because shortly after moving in, he went to study in , Austria, where he graduated in law. The Draga family moved out of the house in 1919, near the end of the , when the Kingdom of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs nationalized it. In the 30s of the last century, until 1940, the French consul moved in here and the house became the official French consulate. In 1941, during the , the German command moved in, and at the end of the same year, the house was handed over to the Bulgarian police. Since 1948, it has been the Home of the Pioneers of the Republic of Macedonia. In 1962, the destroyed the entire archive and library, and in 1963, the seriously damaged the entire building. In 1970, the building was completely renovated and put into use as the Karposh Pioneer Home.

The detached building, which is built in the Eclectic style, contains two huge . The loggia is supported by several columns that are crowned with a Corinthian , which are also used to crowned the that can be seen elsewhere. The balustrade that secures the loggias contains the same as the ones used within the . On top of the second floor, you can see various , which are placed within the frieze. Above the windows of the first floor, you can admire a , as well as ornaments and a straight .
