Karl Wittigschlager Junior House

The two-story building, also known as the Social Building, was built for residential and commercial purposes somewhere at the beginning of the 20th century. The building was built by Karl Wittigschlager Junior, a printer and bookseller who successfully continued his work after the death of his father Karl Wittigschlager Senior. The building house their bookstore and printing house, which was in operation in the building until 1937. The activity of the printing house of the Wittigschlager family was extensive, especially in the printing of German and other newspapers. They were also a pioneer in postcard printing. After the bankruptcy in 1937, the Pančevo Commercial Bank and Savings Bank operated in that building. Later it housed the State Social Insurance Institute in Pančevo, and later, the Republic Health Insurance Fund, a Branch for the South Banat district.

The most distinctive features of the Eclectic building, is the tower-like structure on the corner and the on the northern side of the building.
