Beach Hotel Bulfon

The two-story building, which was solely constructed for residential purposes, was built to house Hotel Ulbing. It was built in 1898 according to the design that came from the hand of the architect Ritter Schurrde. In 1924, the Austrian master builder , with the help of his friend, the Austrian architect , completely renovated the building. Anton is also the founder of the Beach Hotel Bulfon, which moved into the building with a newly built lido. Although its main structure is still intact, the defining central entrance portal and its beautiful ornamentation were completely destroyed.

The that's placed on the northwestern corner of the former Neo-Renaissance building is one of the few original still existing features. The turret is supported by two and covered with an alluring bell-shaped dome. The distinctive part that was destroyed, was located on the western side of the building and featured a dormer that was topped with a pointed . The dormer contained a that was flanked by and topped with . The balustrade that flanked the dormer contained the same as the ones that were used in the .

The oriel window contained a that was topped with keystones, and surrounded by that were crowned with either a Doric or an Ionic . The two balconies that flanked the oriel window were supported by three corbels, secured with a curved wrought iron railing, and covered with an . Above the awning, there was the segmentally-shaped part of the roof , which was topped with a beautifully decorated .
