Fitov Brothers Trading House

The impressive two-story building was built for commercial and residential purposes at the end of the 19th century and belonged to Gorodetsky. Almost immediately after its completion, it was rented by the brothers Peter and Alexander Ilyich Fitov. The brothers came from the south of Bessarabia and also owned shops in and . Their trading house, which had existed since 1869, provided all kinds of products, including all kinds of fabrics, men's and women's clothing, table linen, and more. Their store became the first one to be electrified, which attracted the attention of the people in the city. During the , the building was seriously damaged, like many other buildings in the city. The building, unlike many other buildings, was restored after the war but was destroyed in the 1950s to make way for a more modern building.
